It has a small boost of natural caffeine but it provides so much more. I haven’t even craved any coffee all week. I have felt alert and more productive without the crash that I usually get from coffee around my lunchtime. I have experimented a couple times with taking it prior to a workout or before a rugby match and I have felt amazing with no complaints of stomach or muscle cramps, or any irregular sensations in my body for that matter. I just felt awesome. I have been taking it in my fruit and veggie smoothies and there is no affect on their taste. Even with just water, if I I’m looking for a quick boost, it tastes pretty decent. I don’t crave its flavor like I would say, Sprite, but I am not plugging my nose to finish it either. The lack of sweetness is a testament to the quality of the ingredients. It’s comprehensive in the types of nutrients that I need for energy and healthy living; plus its all natural, which I am really stoked about. (I purchased the “flavorless” version so I can’t comment on the chocolate) Despite it being kind of gritty and generally odd-looking for a powdered drink, its excellent so far. I love the results.
