I actually ordered 3 of them as there were reviews commenting that some of the switches they received didn't function. All three of mine worked but the third one was loose, meaning if I moved the wires I could feel it move around inside. I copied an idea I saw on Phil's DIY to make a switch for my RAV 4 Prime SE that would allow the kick sensor I installed to open and close the hatch. Without the switch it would only do one or the other and the switch allowed the trigger wire to trigger only one at a time based on the tilt of my hatch. They come with sticky tape that I used to stick them to the mount I created. They've only been on there a couple of days, but so far so good. Review: Works as expected - So I bought a float switch at Walmart for automatic bilge pump on my jon boat. The metal piece inside it was too heavy and didn’t close the circuit to turn on the pump every time or once it did turn on it would not turn off. So I mounted this switch on top of that float and now it works every time and is more sensitive. I heat shrank the wires as a water resistant measure. Works great.
