    Great dampening

I used to think all gel dampeners were the same, but these are much better than moongels. The circular design allows them to work with the shape of the drumhead so whatever frequencies they dampen are simply trimemed and not killed which I find is the case with moongels. Another factor in this is how they are thicker than moongels which I think helps them resonate more with the drumhead as opposed to choking it. I cut a medium sized gel in half and put 1 on each tom, a large and medium on my bassdrum (sticks great) and a large on my big fat snare drum and I cannot stop playing because it makes each drum sound so good at all dynamics
