I usually just add a small handful over the top of their normal food. Using it the way I do, it lasts me a long time. I'd say probably two months. I use the cockatiel size versus the parrot size because my birds tend to waste a lot less this way. A lot of times I just hand feed it to them a few times throughout the day. Make sure you either seal the bag well, or as I do...pour it into its own canister. I hope this was helpful. I can feed this to my cockatiels and noticed a gradual improvement in their overall well being. They were a better weight, appeared brighter and more active, and sang more.
