That is where I buy from now. Prices are cheaper, and shipping is free and reasonably fast. **Q: Did your package from Amazon have an appropriate expiration date? The bag I bought from the local store did and it smelled fine, stored in fridge.** A: Yep. It was fine. I've never had a problem with getting out-of-date products from Caitec, whether they were in a store or ordered online. They've always been fresh. The only problem has been Amazon's packing, off and on. Sometimes the Caitec Bites arrive in crumbs due to a lack of padding around them (they're just on the bottom of the box and bang around during shipping). :) **Q: Is this a soft food? Can you wet it and make it soft? my gophin doesnt seem to like hard foods like dry pasta pellets vegetables fruits ect.** A: It is semi soft like a cookie. In fact, it smells like a cinnamon cookie to me. They are baked, but I can crush them fairly easily with my fingers for the smaller birds, unlike most other hard pellets. You could try them as is for your goffin, then lightly moisten if she won't eat them like that. I wouldn't soak as they are not like typical hard pellets. **Q: I have lesser sulfur crested cockatoo. Should I order pellets for large or medium size parrot?** A: Hi Jessica, I have an African Grey and Green winged Macaw both who eat the medium sized Caitec bites. I originally purchased the large but there was too much waste so switched to the medium. They eat it all. That's what I recommend.
