Really good carbide tips stay sharp a long time

I bought a set of 4 Chisels and then these replacements and I see by using the chisels that takes a super long time to ware them out the sharp edges last a long time...

This product provides a good selection of cutters. And they are sharp!Tungsten Carbide is designed to be disposable, so they don't require any sharpening. (Carbide tips can be sharpened, but require specialized diamond abrasives). The carbide stays reasonably sharp for a longer period of time, but because of its coarse grain, can never be sharpened as finely as HSS.These cutters are comparable priced and cuts well. I am unable to tell the "grade" of tungsten carbide these cutters are made with (if there is such a varying grade).

Great blades!
I started on the lathe with traditional chisels and eventually tried out these carbide tip cutters. Man, they are so much more forgiving and easier to use. Almost feels like cheating. I have a wet stone and oil to sharpen my existing blades, but I feel like that only works so well, so I got these replacements. They are great. Super sharp and fit very snuggly on the handles. Much better deal than what you find on the big online woodcraft stores.
