It's fat. Meat has fat. People need to learn what REAL meat is like, not the overly lean pristinely trimmed crap you get everywhere nowadays. Cutting out the fat removes much of the nutrition. Anything that has fat/tallow like this is the GOOD stuff! **Q: Are these more like regular jerky or soft like the Epic bars?** A: Sort of in between. They're not as soft as the epic bites but they're a little less tough than other brand of jerky I've tried. **Q: Is it 100% grass fed AND finished as well as organic, and in the meantime do you know the pesticide content?** A: The manufactured has answered our inquiry. No pesticides. 100% grass fed and finished. **Q: Can you eat theses with no teeth?** A: This project is a hard jerky. If the person has really strong gums that can chew nuts, they might be able to chew this. I recommend you buy an individual pice first and try it. It is more expensive that way but it is better try it before you buy the large pack ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good but peppery. *by on Reviewed in the United States March 12, 2023* Good flavor. Very well sealed individual strips. A bit peppery for my taste but that could be a bonus if you like a lot of black pepper. Not too tough or too dry. You definitely need something to drink it with.Excellent snack with a drink. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My favorite Jerky *by on Reviewed in the United States September 18, 2026* I really love the flavor of this jerky, a lot of store bought brands are too sweet or spicy for me. This is the perfect pepper flavor and texture. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good low calorie snack *by on Reviewed in the United States February 16, 2018* I had heard that deer was a very underrated meat, so I was really interested in trying it. It is very lean, so this is a good diet snack. The flavor of these is usually pretty good, not too gamey. My one issue with these is that the quality is sometimes inconsistent (an issue with epic bars in general) and sometimes you get one with a lot of fat bloomage that doesn't taste quite right. I actually wonder if part of that is just that Amazon shoves them in a padded envelope and ships them across the country and the plastic heats up sitting in trucks for days at a time, but it's hard to say one way or the other. ## Frequently Bought Together - EPIC Venison & Beef Strips, Keto Friendly, Whole30, 20 ct, 0.8 oz Strips - EPIC Bars, Venison Sea Salt and Pepper Bar, Keto Friendly, Whole30 Approved, Gluten Free, 12 Count, 15.6 oz - EPIC Bison Bacon Cranberry Bars, Grass-Fed, 12 Count Box 1.3oz bars --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/54809083-venison-strips-with-beef-sea-salt-and-pepper-gluten-free](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/54809083-venison-strips-with-beef-sea-salt-and-pepper-gluten-free) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
