So if you need something quieter this is not it. Clippers are quiet. Both built just like babyliss always has. Nice matte finish. They work great. I have no issues with it heating up or the blades getting hot. They aren’t overly heavy. Make sure to oil and keep clean so the blade stays sharp longer. I know from working in this industry for 16 years so many don’t oil or clean their clippers! The only thing I don’t like is the charging cord is short and they did not turn on to use while plugged in.
