That's a good thing in my book, because Tabac is probably my favorite shave soap.Or was. This soap might be just a bit better. Performance is nearly identical to Tabac, but where this shines is the scent. Wow. Lavender Pour Homme is supposed to mimic the Czech & Speake Oxford and Cambridge scent, and it's truly a wonderful scent. Not that I think Tabac's scent is bad, but I would consider it dated. Lavender Pour Homme, on the other hand, is timeless.Creating great lather with this soap is easy. I load a wet brush on the puck for about 15 seconds, then I build the lather in a bowl, adding water a little at a time until I have a yogurt-like consistency.
