I started using the brita filters from around an year back. Although it’s said that water off the tap is safe to drink, I find the visible thin film that forms on top of my hot drinks rather off-putting so I started using the filters to descale the water. My teas coffees and even just plain water quality I feel is much more improved when using the filters. It’s only my husband and I at home and each filter lasts about a month or longer.
