Plastic-made adapters are always cracking on me. TURN ON the camera FIRST to extend lens. Find a way to STABILIZE the lens and BE VERY CAREFUL so the zoom tracking will not MISS-TRACK (will auto reset itself by turning it OFF and ON). MAKE SURE the adapter is SITTING CORRECTLY and FLAT on the lens barrel before turning it CLOCKWISE. It will REALLY be tight when you start turning, but IT WILL TURN -once you go over the 'hump'. Turn until it stops. Notice the adapter will SNAP IN its place and will have a slight play on the mount once seated (hence, 4 stars). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A whole lot better then the plastic version! *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2019* At first I ordered the plastic version of this item and it held up for about 6 months. I am glade i ordered the plastic first because I learned how important it is to get a quality piece after I got familiar to my camera.
