Review: My favourite power bank - I love anker products, and I know that I can always rely on them for reliability and quality. That’s why I decided to get this power bank, as I’ve had enough of my phone always having little to no battery whenever I need to use it the most. And I’ve got to say, this little thing has exceeded my expectations! First, I’ll start by clearing up some of the negative reviews. The “remaining time” on the screen ONLY shows how long the battery of the power bank itself will take to drain or charge fully, it doesn’t show the amount of time until your device is fully charged. Also, some people are getting confused by the labels on the back reading “5000mah”, but next to it, it says 2 pieces which means 2x 5000mah cells. Anker hasn’t put 10,000mAh since the two cells are in series instead of parallel. With that out of the way, it’s time for my review. I love this power bank. A lot. I don’t regret buying it one bit, and I take it everywhere with me. The 10000mah capacity is also more than enough for me, as I only use it to charge my iPhone 12 Pro or sometimes the Samsung S10+. It does get a little warm whilst charging, but I think that’s natural for a power bank. When I charge the iPhone and the Samsung at the same time, it disables the fast charging and goes down to 5v, but it’s still quite fast. (5v 4.8a shared). It does get warm when charging more than one device at a time, but that’s to be expected. It charges my iPhone rapidly, as fast as the anker 65w plug! It gets me from 25% to 70% in around 25 minutes, and the power bank would still have enough power to charge my phone 2 more times. On the samsung, it shows Fast charging, and on a more recent samsung (I tested the s21+) it shows super fast charging, so the 30w power is more than enough for me. It couldn’t really charge my dell Inspiron however, as it kept charging then stopping, but I don’t think it should be used as a power bank for laptops anyway. Now let’s talk about the size! When I unboxed it, I couldn’t believe how small it actually was. It’s very small and compact, which makes it really easy to slip in your pocket. I still can’t get over how small it is, especially for its battery capacity. However it would be nice to see a lanyard mount, even if it does include a little pouch in the box. Now the charging speeds. In one of the pictures, you can see that the power bank charges at a rate of around 22 watts (using the anker 65w plug), and it estimates the amount of time until it is fully charged at that charge rate. This thing charges up super fast, which is really handy for me whenever I need to use it. However, like some reviews say, it does become temperamental with its charging speeds, which is at a rate of 7 watts @ 9 volts. (with an 18W plug, was getting the same results sometimes with the anker 65w plug). This makes it take over 5-6 hours to charge from 0-100% which could be a turn off for some people. Not really much of a problem for me, but I do find it a tad inconvenient. It also doesn’t have pass-through charging. Overall I really love this thing. Anker have really impressed me with this power bank. 5 stars from me! Edit: Unfortunately whilst trying to charge my phone, the power bank failed after 2 months of use. However, this is my fault as later I discovered that the phone's charging port was short circuited. I won't decrease the rating as it has served me amazingly and was very high quality, but it doesn't seem to offer short circuit protection. I have contacted Anker support about this issue and hopefully I can get this issue resolved. Edit 2: I’m happy to say that the customer service from anker was absolutely phenomenal. They helped me resolve my issue and issued me another power bank of the same exact model. The new power bank works just like my old one did, i am super happy with the customer service with anker. 5 stars all the way Edit 3: I actually found out that this little power bank was able to charge my ASUS tuf dash f16 laptop at around 30-31 watts. It’s quite a tough little guy! However, judging by the display, it’ll last for around an hour, which definitely won’t be enough to fully charge a laptop. I’d only use it in case of emergencies, but nice to know that it works. And as for the aforementioned dell inspiron, it charges that too when it is fully shut down at a rate of 33 watts. However it does get quite warm, which is expected.
Review: I have many Anker products, this is the first that made me question its quality... (read on) - Updated: Anker contacted me to rectofy the issue I had with this product, and they did very, very quickly. If there is one thing Anker have always given its fantastic customer service. This is the second time I have spoken with theit CS team in all of the years buying their products and both times I have been very happy with the outcome of their support. On this alone, I have increased my original 3 star rating to a 5 stars because of how promptly and efficiently they dealt with things. Original Review: Firstly, let me say I have an abundance of Anker products I have purchased over the years. I love the brand, the build quality of all products is fantastic and its why I always look to them first when needing to purchase a new charger, power bank, cable etc. so I had confidence this would be another great power bank. However... On first and second use it seems only ok, not good, I say this because the digital screen keeps changing the time for when my iPhone 14 Pro will reach full charge. To give context, my iPhone was at 70% when I started the test, after only 12-13 minutes it was at 78% so its charging very fast which is great, but the screen is saying 3h 32m until 100% is reached. I am certain this is incorrect because it will likely be 100% in the next 20-30 minutes. I am using the original Apple USB C to Lightning cable that came with my iPhone to ensure I was using an adequate cable. I will give it a few more days of testing to check if this updates itself somewhat, or if this in fact not a fault, but right now I don't have confidence in the power bank that I have has with others that are also from Anker. There are some pros to this which is why I still like it: its very small and light despite it having 10,000mah capacity (keep in mind the item states 5,000mah, it says this because there are two 5,000mah cells inside the power bank. It has two USB C ports so I am able to charge my iPhone and iPad Mini simultaneously, should I need to when traveling. The digital screen to show the remaining batter level is a really nice touch over other brands only having LED indicators. It recharges very quickly (I recharge it using an Anker 45W charger with a cable that is capable of 100W charging) so this is an advantage when needing to recharge the power bank quickly during travels. I will update this review further once I have used the power bank a little more over the next week or so.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Received it yesterday and charging it for the past 11 hours, still not fully charged and still charging and it’s on 78% at the moment, is it normal?**
A: The time to charge will be dependant on the output of your charger. However, 11 hours seems to be excessive.

I have three of these power banks and have not had any issues.

**Q: What is thw Wh?**
A: On the back of the power bank, it indicates 36Wh, and also shows 2pcs 5000mah.

**Q: Does it charge iPhone 11**
A: Yes multiple times

**Q: can it be taken on to a Plane?**
A: This is the response from anker;

‘ Most airlines allow passengers to bring power banks in their carry-on luggage, but not in checked baggage, due to the risk of fire caused by lithium-ion batteries. The capacity of the power bank is also typically limited to 100 watt-hours or 20,000mAh.’

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Compact
*by L***U on 12 March 2024*

I'm happy with this powerbank, it's compact, has a cary bag to keep it safe, also there is a space for the cable too, so I'll not loose it at home or at the bottom of the backpack. The cary bag came twice big as the powerbank, so I adjusted it and made it more compact. It works well with my Google Pixel 6 Pro, charge it rapidly. Can charge my phone 1.5 times. When I'm traveling it's easy to charge my phone, small and I can keep it in the pocket, especially when I'm using Google Maps and Camera that drain the phone battery quickly. The digital display shows how much power it remains. The only bad thing is that when re-charging the powerbank itself it is very slow. It requires couple of hours to re-charge. When is in recharge mode you can't charge on the same time your phone, just doesn't work. I recommended it to some of my friends.
