**Q: If this is made in the USA why the whatsapp support is having a chinese number?**
A: Made in China. Advertised by a number of companies. It's ok as a budget filament but is a bit oily for my liking. Unable to use in 2 to 1 hot ends as it's too oily and causes lots of stringing and colour bleed.

**Q: Is this PLA food safe?**
A: Regardless of the 3D printer filament, let alone material, nor even type of PLA; it is *not* food safe. The method of fused deposition modelling is not a food safe method; as the resulting print surface is terraced; allowing crevices and topological features that harbour bacteria growth. Unless you have a material which is intrinsically safe to contain food, and a method of making the resulting print surface relatively topologically flat/smooth I wouldn't recommend 3D printing anything which involves/participates in the ingestion of food...

**Q: What settings are used to avoid stringing? (Nozzle temp, print speed, retraction settings for Ender 3 V2)**
A: I can't really comment as I am using a Bigtree BX machine which has a direct drive extruder so retraction distances are much smaller than when using a bowden tube extruder. Best is to true a bunch of benchys with a range of retraction distances from , say, 2mm upwards in 1mm increments

**Q: Is this aquarium safe? Looking to make a pleco house.**
A: I probably wouldn't use PLA for that. PETG 9the stuff pop botles are made from) may be a better choice.
