I don't have to jam it in as much in packing.This container seems solid and it feels highly water resistant. It has fine threads which is great to keep things out. But, in the wrong hands, I could see someone putting it together crooked and crossthreading it. It has o-rings at each joint and comes with extras. It's been a comfort knowing i wasn't going to open a bag and find my pills scattered everywhere.Now, the convenience, or lack there of.
