It will not leak even though I've tried to make it. Great for matcha also, just add powder and water and shake the bejesus out of it. Works great. When you unscrew the lid the lip is nice and thin (hate drinking out of a thick lip). If you want to drink out of the spout, that’s comfortable too. The only issue I have is it doesn’t really keep my coffee that hot for very long. I love a piping hot coffee and most thermo cups that I’ve had, keep beverages very hot/cold, but this one kinda just keeps it warm. If I walk my dog for an hr, midway my coffee is warm but not HOT. When I pour the coffee in and hold the cup, I can feel the heat from the coffee through the outside of the cup. It’s not uncomfortable to hold, but it’s not thick enough that its keeping the heat inside, bc I can feel the temperature on the outside. Does that make sense? Anyway, I bought 2 and will continue to use, but was kind of disappointed in this aspect especially since it’s meant to be a thermal cup, hence the 3/5 stars!
