When I opened it, it came splashing out of the container all over my kitchen counters. It's about the consistency of chocolate milk. It's supposed to be creamy but it's not. While it isn't "chunky," it has very large pieces all throughout that can get caught on a strainer. The good note is that it's so watery, that it WILL go through a strainer and that's not normal for peanut butter. I bought this brand for preschool projects, not for a food item and it could not be used. The kids were making peanut butter pine cone bird feeders but the peanut butter is so thin that it won't even stock to the pinecones. The consistency and texture were so bad that I would NEVER eat this product...and I will never use it for a craft project again. Absolutely the worst I've ever encountered. (I did stir what was left after it came splashing out of the jar. I'm aware that oil can pool on the surface, but this looked exactly like it had been taken out of a blender.)
