**Q: Will these work with max31855 board or max6675 board?**
A: It doesn’t work well with max31855 or at least mine didn’t. I believe this thermocouple has ground connected to the sleeve so it worked in open air but when I inserted it into to the heater block my temp reading wasn’t consistent or anywhere near correct. (Pulled it out and worked liked it should.) 

I switched to an AD8495 and reading the analog signal from this TC works great.

**Q: would I need that amplifier for this when using my ender 5 plus ?**

Using this in my Flashforge/Makerbot clone which uses thermocouples instead of thermistors.  Seems to be working great.  Love the spring at the sensor to provide strain relief and protection from the hotend.
