Soft bristles are as stated... soft yet sturdy enough to cleanse well. The stiffer bristles are good for that deep cleaning scrub but not so stiff they're painful. The brushes rinse out well. The textured grip is great when holding it with soapy hands.

This little jewel has come in so handy. I loved it so much. I got another one for the guest bathroom. I highly recommend this.
