This is so that each TV set has its own way of changing channels. If you all want to watch the same channel then you could just run a long cable from the box to the other TV set or plug it into some kind of media streaming device. **Q: Will this update my humax freeview player** A: This is the dongle which will help you to get the Humax box on to the internet. Once this is plugged in, this will should allow the Humax to 'speak' to your router. I suggest that you use the connection at the rear of the Humax box and keep the front socket for adding an additional hard drive which will give you greater storage capacity. Once the machine is 'on' and running, use the hand set and go to 'MENU' and then go to 'SETTINGS' and select the option you wish. I mostly use 'Installation' to refresh the channels available in my area and occasionally 'System' to access other applications. I hope this helps. Actually this worked perfectly unlike the unit that was recommended alongside the humax ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfectly with Humax DVRs *by B***L on 23 August 2021* Skightly expensive and only Wi-Fi low band but works perfectly with Humax digital Video recorders. Setup within the Humax firmware is compatible and easy.
