So fear not, everything is made by design. **Q: Will this 4qt be enough for a 2018 focus with 4.5 qt capicity?** A: Depending on how many miles and if doing 1 or 2 treatments. If doing two treatments, the G4 will be fine. If doing 1 we'd recommend to going with the G6 to play it safe. **Q: If you have new oil, can you do both treatments without changing oil after 1st** A: Hi! If doing two treatments (on an engine with more than 25k miles) the reason to change the oil after the first treatment is because the RVS compound very thoroughly cleans the friction surfaces of contaminants before adhering, resulting in dirty oil. That's why we suggest changing the oil, so the contaminants do not start circulating and sticking to the surfaces again. After first treatment and 250 miles, change the oil and do 2nd treatment to the fresh oil and keep your regular oil change intervals.
