This book also has lots of information on different spreads and how to the use the cards in different circumstances. Until looking at the book, I realised there are more spreads than the Celtic cross. Would highly recommend to any beginner and probably beyond. The only difference between this and a traditional book, is an explanation as to the Greek legends behind each card, but this knowledge is not needed to read the cards. My book has five pages on the legend and only a paragraph on what the card means in the spread. This book also has added extras of spells and wicken magic. Not sure if she'll use that, but its always a bonus for my daughter to be knowledgeble in different beliefs.
