## Description

The soft bottles are improved. The Flux has the shape of a rigid bottle, compresses like a soft bottle and reduces its weight by 50%. It features a dust-proof lid and rotating attachment for quick hydration as well as a safety handle that keeps moisture safe in your hand or on your pocket. The Flux stands like a rigid bottle, but when you're done with your drink, this bottle folds into pocket size.

Review: Much improved over the previous generation, love that it stands on its own - I've tried a few soft bottles because there's a lot of appeal for camping and traveling - lightweight and doesn't take a lot of space, and sometimes I don't want to deal a hydration bladder. They've all had issues - nalgene's would fall over due to the large wide mouth cap, platypus's were impossible to dry, and so on. Found an older model of the hydrapak flux that I loved for camping and traveling - super easy to pack, came in at least 32 oz, stood up on it's own, and was easier to clean and dry. Didn't super love the twist cap as it didn't release air so it would eventually flop over as you drank, and the mouthpiece was exposed. After the wife made me carry her double walled bottle during skiing, I bought her bottle, and I feel it's been improved in every way. It's wider so there's a more stable base, they added a flip cap, and now when you untwist, it lets air escape so the bottle will expand back to it's normal shape. They added clear plastic on the top so it's easier to see how much liquid is left, and the cap prevents leakage while still in the open twisted position. The loop is longer which makes it easier to roll up as in the pictures, but it's still kind of a pain, so I rarely do it. I'm undecided whether to just steal my wife's bottle, or buy a second one for myself. I still use hard bottles for sizes about 32 oz as I'm unsure of the sturdiness of the larger sizes, but this has become my go to whenever I want to take some water out of the house.

I've tried a few soft bottles because there's a lot of appeal for camping and traveling - lightweight and doesn't take a lot of space, and sometimes I don't want to deal a hydration bladder. They've all had issues - nalgene's would fall over due to the large wide mouth cap, platypus's were impossible to dry, and so on. Found an older model of the hydrapak flux that I loved for camping and traveling - super easy to pack, came in at least 32 oz, stood up on it's own, and was easier to clean and dry. Didn't super love the twist cap as it didn't release air so it would eventually flop over as you drank, and the mouthpiece was exposed. After the wife made me carry her double walled bottle during skiing, I bought her bottle, and I feel it's been improved in every way. It's wider so there's a more stable base, they added a flip cap, and now when you untwist, it lets air escape so the bottle will expand back to it's normal shape. They added clear plastic on the top so it's easier to see how much liquid is left, and the cap prevents leakage while still in the open twisted position. The loop is longer which makes it easier to roll up as in the pictures, but it's still kind of a pain, so I rarely do it. ### ⭐ Had to throw it away as impossible to clean

Love the concept and the bottles however incredibly frustrating and hard to clean. Mould builds up along the seam under the flap and it’s nigh on impossible to get out. Also cap/too hard to clean also. Had to throw it away Shame because it’s a great design. If cap was bigger so you could get a hand in the bottle to clean in the seam properly It would be my favourite bottle!
