Because of this, the gap filler doesn't fit flush with the center console and sticks up enough to interfere with the gear shift. It will fit a phone easily, pack of gum, chapstick and small hand lotion. It's a good product to provide a little extra storage if your console isn't very large and protects from dropping things between the seat and console. It's nice that it has the grommets on the sides to feed a charging cord through and it's feels like quality material. Overall I recommend this product for folks who don't have the unique size issue that I do.
