They hold the urine in like you would expect them to! I usually leave the same one down for two days before picking it up to wash. My senior beagle can’t hold her bladder anymore, and these have been excellent for keeping my floors urine-free without the guilt of throwing away disposable pads!They are very easy to wash! They are so much heavier and absorbant than the thin ones I purchase for my little guy who is 5 mos old and does not go out quite yet.
