## Description

Even in the cold of winter, enjoy a summer's day, line-dried feeling in your clothes every day with Dri Buddi. This smart clothes dryer safely but gently dries your clothes using a warm air motor that evens out creases and leaves your garments feeling crisp, fresh, clean and soft. Tumble driers can be expensive to run and it's easy to shrink or damage clothes by mistake. Dri Buddi is gentle, energy efficient, quiet, and simple to assemble and use - just turn the timer dial and let gentle warm air waves do the rest. You can even time it to dry while you sleep, and awake to warm snug clothes. It holds up to 10 kilos of clothing and is easily packed away for compact storage. There just isn't a more convenient way to enjoy crisp-dry clothes when you need them.

Review: Good product - works well - I spent ages trying to decide if this would be worth the money or not, thinking it may just be another fad, but I am happy to say it has been worth the money. I have used it loads, it helps get clothes dry quickly when you cant use the tumble dryer, much better than having clothes hanging on the airer for days and they clothes are nice and soft once dry. I would say though, dont expect it to be quicker than your tumble. It dries the clothes with hot air and this will still take time but it does work well. I leave it on for a couple of hours in morning whilst doing my other jobs and can then get the clothes ironed in the afternoon. If you overload it with heavy large items such as tracksuit bottoms or large jumpers this will take longer, I tend to check it every now and again and move items around. Not overloading and spacing the clothes out well helps with drying. I would say it is big though, I have seen other reviewers saying it would be good if you lived in a small flat but I wouldnt know where you would put it. It does take up a lot of room and I live in a 4 bed house. I wouldnt leave it up as it doesnt look nice and is takes up too much room but saying that it is very easy to put up and take down each time. I pack it away at the end of each use and use the box it came in as it has a handy handle then store it in the cupboard. It has a timer which I do use so I dont leave it on for longer than I need to however I wouldnt be happy leaving it on when I leave the house or overnight. It is a heater after all and I would be worried about the safety. Some people say they use it in the bedroom and it warms up the room, it will warm up any room you put it in but its fairly noisy. I certainly couldnt sleep if it was on. All that said I am glad I bought it and it has been well worth the money.
Review: Using the JML Dri Buddy has truly revolutionised my wash day! - I was a bit cynical about buying any item with JML branding - I have seen the tv shopping channel and the in-store promotions for these items and really didn't expect this to be anywhere near the hype, when my old trusty clothes horse started to show signs of age I took a chance on this knowing the excellent customer service desertcart offer. My garden only gets a little sunlight, in the morning. If I miss the window of opportunity to get the washing hung during that time, clothes would still be very damp, even on a mild day - only the very hot summer days seem to be effective. The Dri-Buddi box was smaller than expected, as soon as it was delivered I had wet clothes waiting to go in it! I needed help from hubs to put it together, only because I was petrified of cross threading the screws. I don't often take it apart because of this, but find that with the arms dropped down and the cover off, pushed to one side it takes up very little floor space. Up and working, the floor space required is less than my old, worn out Minky clothes airer. The Dri Buddy does warm the house up and the smell of fresh washing is great, I do keep the window slightly open to avoid too much humidity. Drying clothes on my clothes horse would take days and some items of clothing were starting to smell musty, a smell no amount of ironing and febreeze would shift. I washed them down and they were amongst the first to go in the Dri-Buddy. I was disappointed to find the smell still there, but after several more wash cycles, that smell has finally gone. All the clothes come out smelling clean and fresh. You will still need to iron, but there are less wrinkles to go at, meaning that there is less effort. I have managed to dry super king sized quilt covers and bedding in here by draping it over the top of the arms. I did use a sock hanger the first couple of times, but as it was so fiddly they now go over the arms or on the spokes (laziness is king). I rarely used to see the bottom of the wash basket in winter but now there is rarely any damp clothing hanging about, or items waiting to be washed as there will be nowhere for it to go. Last month, after a full month of using this several times a week for up to 3hrs a time, I noticed the electricity bill was £10 more. I had done more washing that month, so that electricity use was combined between the washer and the Dri-Buddy.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does it cause condensation**
A: Yes it absolutely DOES , it's brilliant ! , But I got a 39.99 silent mini dehumidifier I Have it on 24/7 as it takes basically no electricity costs, but when the dri buddy is on it FILLS very noticeably lol , so yes it does but paired with a good relaibke mini and inexpensive dehumidifier it actually dries faster ! , As it removes water from the air as well as air heats. The perfect combo

**Q: How do l assemble my dri buddy**
A: I had a few problemsRight--- 3 legs slip in easy they will only go on one way .The long single pole goes through the drip panel which should be sloping side facing in. Then you need lots of patients to screw this into the top of the heater blower it is very difficult to get it lined up you just have to persavere ( I now leave mine assembled ) the pole with the hangers on acre into the long single pole quite easily then put the hangers up like you would an umbrella. The cover --- the area where the vents are go over the hangers sides hang down then you will see how the zips do up. Be careful that the cover doesn't go over the main motor ie the bit where the legs go in. Hope this has been of some use Hood luck.

**Q: dose this drye have a condenser to tra p the moisture**
A: Hi,No it doesn't if the house is warm you hardly get any condensation however if you put it on all morning you need you window open or on vent as I find you get dripping windows! We do live in an older house though so may not be the case for you. There are vent holes to the top of the cover. Brilliant though mine is on at the moment with two disabled sons I plough through the washing and this is ideal. Also heats the downstairs up as well so it's ideal for me in the day!

**Q: can i dry beding**
A: I haven't tried to dry bedding in my Dri Buddi. I think it would perhaps take a while. I use mine mainly for shirts, trousers, underwear and socks. If I have quite a few items it does take longer. I think it would also be a problem with length. I think it's a great little dryer. Hope this helps

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product - worth buying
*by S***N on 21 January 2016*

Unit appears flimsy when you put it together, but once assembled its quite sturdy. I am surprised by some of the comments where nothing needs to be ironed. In a lot of cases that is true but it does depend on the garment. I have trouble hanging everything with adequate space and not sure if the hangers we have bought are too big, you'd think this would come with hangers! We found that clothes on one side were not drying so well, even after 4 hours. We then found that the cover was poorly stitched. We had to contact JML direct and to their credit, they sent a replacement very quickly, although be warned, the replacement is white not blue. Its not a wonder dryer and as per other comments, don't expect it to be like a tumble dryer. It is not noisy either. Another comment claimed this can also heat a room, I tend to disagree. It does not give off that much heat however ours is in the conservatory and depending on the day, we have to open the windows else the condensation is bad. I don't want this to be negative review. The product is good. A lot of clothes do dry without the need of ironing, which makes the wife very please, especially with school clothes. Clothes definitely smell better and avoids hanging over radiators. You can put any clothes in also without fear of shrinking. I am glad I bought it and so is the wife who wasn't convinced at first. It doesn't replace the tumble dryer which we still use for towels etc, but definitely reduced the usage of the tumble. I think for the price it was a good gamble and for us, it paid off. I would recommend others to buy if they want to stop hanging clothes over radiators
