I ordered the size s/m. The piece that goes around the ankle could be a bit longer (would have been a better fit). The other side wraps around the arch and connects to the strip around the ankle. After getting the hang of putting these on they worked well providing stability and compression on the arch. Once I put socks on, the irritation went away, but the velcro damaged my socks. Maybe adding a soft sleeve, like with wrist braces would help. The heel portion felt really good though, and the ankle strap did provide support. I jest had to wear socks with it.
