I am trying to find out myself. The reviews have been glowing otherwise. However every other similar stainless coffee maker that I have read the reviews for have lots of people talking about rust and coatings. I was so hoping this one would be different. **Q: Where is this made? (Country of origin.)** A: The person who answered "Italy" to your question was the China factory trying to fool you... why are they ashamed of their own products? Cheaply made, for one. **Q: What is the best way to clean it?** A: I bought this coffee maker because it is induction ready. I have always cleaned my espresso maker with plain soap and water or use the dishwasher. Honestly, I only do this once a week, otherwise I just rinse and dry. I find coffee taste better this way as opposed to washing after each use. **Q: Exactly what is this inside "opaque lining" that two of the reviews have addressed? one said that after just one use, it was corroded.** A: I just got this yesterday. The water reservoir has a coating on it. I think this is what people are asking about, as I am wondering too. It’s not from use. Perhaps it is the sandblasted finish someone referred to but it feels more rubbery. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its fantastic *by N***K on Reviewed in the United States on 8 January 2024* First time ever owning a Moka, and I absolutely love this one. All the others I looked at were small and made from aluminum. I just personally felt something made of stainless steel would likely work better and hold better longer.I had never owned one before so I made sure to look into the how to's for it since the boyfriend and I were spending way to much money at other locations for coffees with shots of espresso. So I felt it would be best to cup back if we made out own. Now we make Espresso every morning and super happy.Tips at least I learned to pass on to anyone else:I fill up the base with hot water prior, below the valve. I am sure you are saying why heat up water if the Moka will do it for you. Reason being is I want less heat on the coffee, and not burn the grounds since we use ours over a gas stove so we are working with fire. Its probably less of an issue with an electrical on low-meium low. I let it steep and come out a bit more at a steady rate. I feel when it goes through too fast it doesnt collect. I feel doing this improved the flavor by a lot compared to the first two rounds I did not do this. **If you are doing this before having it on the stove, make sure to wrap the base in a towel, or pick up with oven gloves, so when you grab it to move it and screw on the top, you do not burn yourself. It will be HOT**Add a coffee filter to the top of the coffee compartment and the top part that screws in together. Coffee filers I have, the bottom circular part fits this Moka perfectly, so I just cut the circle section out of the coffee filter and place it against the bottom of the top section of the Moka which screws on top of the coffee compartment and base. I add a bit of water to my finger and touch the filter with it, to help it hold in place better. This also has helped to have less of a muddy Espresso. I noticed even if I ground my coffee coarse a lot of tiny particles still worked their ways through and coffee would look muddy which would affect flavor. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bonito el diseño y fácil de utilizar. *by R***O on Reviewed in Mexico on 30 July 2021* Facilidad para la preparación de un café con muy buen gusto.Buen producto. ### ⭐⭐⭐ MITSUBISHI製のIH不可でした *by A***ー on Reviewed in Japan on 14 December 2021* IH対応とのことで購入しましたが、MITSUBISHI製のＣＳ−Ｇ３１８ＭＳではIHで使えず、ラジエントヒーターで利用しました。 ## Frequently Bought Together - Godmorn Stovetop Espresso Maker, Moka Pot, Percolator Italian Coffee Maker, 600ml/20oz/12 cup (espresso cup=50ml), Classic Cafe Maker, stainless steel, suitable for induction cookers - Peet's Coffee, Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee - Espresso Forte 32 Ounce Bag --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/551586119-godmornstovetop-espresso-maker-moka-pot-percolator-italian-coffee-maker-600ml](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/551586119-godmornstovetop-espresso-maker-moka-pot-percolator-italian-coffee-maker-600ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
