You may have to refomat it. **Q: Anyone try this Transcend 2TB USB drive to connect to their TV and play movie files? Does it still heat up a lot just playing a 2-hour movie file?** A: While not on a TV, I have it plugged into a micro PC and it is warm just idling. I have a similar one from a different brand with the same controller and NAND memory but it is plastic rather than metal. It shows the same temperature. **Q: Can it store file greater than 4GB? Other USBs have the limit of 4GB. I have to use an external hard drive if I want to save those larger than 4GBfile** A: If it is formatted exFAT, NTFS or any other current file systems it can take larger files.
