I lost an end plug on a rough trail to a tree last week and was in need of something better and quick for my full suspension, so I looked around on Amazon. I've done 2 rides with these and they've stayed put. You just need to make sure that they're in there tight, not forcing the included Allen wrench to over tighten. After the first ride, and clipping another tree to find the left one loose, I just gave it a quick tighten, 1/4 - 1/2 turn and after another ride yesterday kept checking on them, as we were in the trees again, they stayed put.
