The choice of heat settings is great and I love the dual controls. I have Fibromyalgia so the heat helps with swelling and pain. You cant really feel the wires when you lay on it, something that I was very worried about . Two negative things: I do have to keep pulling the cover back over or up as it dosent stay 100% secure to the mattress. Also, there is more heat directed to the bottom/foot of the cover where I wish it were more even or higher up but that is just because I need more heat on my back. I solved the problem by putting it on the other way around.This is all around a wonderful product. The pad fits quite snuggly on our bed, but I expect it would fit any regular queen size bed just fine. If you have an extended size queen bed - you might want to try a King mattress pad.I LIKE that there are two separate controls plugged into to separate connections at the foot of the mattress - so each side has their own extension cord as well as their own control.We have had other heated mattress pads in the best - probably a little better quality - but we wanted to spend less this time. We are perfectly satisfied.The sides are that weird paper/Tyvek type material. and are not particularly stretchy, but they aren't "noisy" like some "paper" bedding I have had in the past.Overall we would definitely buy this product again. We are so happy to have it - even here in the San Francisco Bay Area.Update - 3/28/17 -We washed our pad a few times and it stopped working. We contacted Biddeford and they sent us a return label. We had to pay the shipping, but for $15 (shipping) we got a new one.Customer service was great.
