No, but not worth what they ask at all, especially from ColdSteel's site *by K***N on July 22, 2018* Is it a bad sword? No. By that i mean it works. but in clean cutting a buzzards head off, it chipped the blade in 2 places, not good. The wooden meguki pins that hold the blade in are made of a very soft wood and are impossible to remove. There is no hamon or hardened edge at all it seems, just sharp steel. On the positive side its sharp and looks nice.
