We're up-cycling these shells into beautiful eco-friendly bowls made from real coconuts. They are going to differ slightly in terms of exact weight and size and how much exact volume they will hold. This is for me and I'm sure many others part of the charm and does not detach from their functionality in any way. They will hold just the right amount of food for any one human-sized meal, however, the depth and curve of the sides mean that quite a fair bit can be loaded in!Wonderfully lightweight and easy to clean and store, though surprisingly sturdy. The useful instructions provided state to wash with warm soapy water, however, I have found that simply rinsing alone gets the job done fine! (though I eat a fully raw diet). They can also be polished every so often with coconut oil to maintain their best condition, which is great to know.The spoons they come with are a perfect size to allow for mindful eating and easy to just store in with the bowls, stacked.These have made my feeding times that much more enjoyable, which was exactly what I had hoped for upon purchasing. Perfect bowls for soups, salads, veggie-bowls and smoothie-bowls as others have pictured. For me this is money well spent.
