Typically I didn't need something for a pocket but something that have extra juice when needed. This allows charging multiple items at the same time as well as tablets. I've used in over the last few weeks and I'm very impressed with the quality of the device. If you want a portable battery that can handle multiple charges as well as multiple devices at the same time, this is the one. Be aware it's larger and heavier then the other ones. The picture is a clear indication of how large it is. It works great for me.Update 7_12_15 - After letting it sit for a few days it no longer works.
