After just one day of wearing them, I felt significant pain relief in my heel and arch. The memory foam is very comfortable and lightweight. Additionally, I had zero pain in my arthritic big toe which was a huge improvement. Previously I had tried some Dr Scholls inserts I found in the drugstore but they don't even compare to the Powerstep. They are definitely worth the price. I made an appointment with a Podiatrist. In the meantime, I did exercises, massages, and even bought a pair of Birkenstocks to wear around the house instead of bare feet. By the time I saw the Podiatrist, everything was fine but I'm glad I still went. She said I was doing the correct exercises and everything else. It just happens that I have thin soles. She said to NEVER walk barefoot at home for long periods of time, which was what I was doing before my trip. She said the Birkenstocks were great instead of flat sandals. She also highly recommended these insoles instead of Dr. Scholls. I bought them and inserted them into the hiking boots and they felt amazing! After my recent trip, I did not experience any foot discomfort. So happy to have purchased these! I was also told that Sketchers Go Walk were good for walking.
