They are a very simple design & they glide effortlessly across my shower curtain rod. Like the other reviewers, I worry about rust but it's too soon for me to tell you if they will or won't. But at the end of the day, I want more! On a strictly personal preference, I wish I shelled out the extra cash for the InterDesign York Classic Shower Hooks. I wavered between these two sets (simple & functional vs classic vintage look). I decided that there would not be much of a difference and figured I'd save a few bucks. However, now that I have these hooks up, I strongly believe the York hooks would work much better in my bathroom and balance out the shower curtain with the hooks.
