I also was looking for something that fit the kerrygold Irish pads of butter we buy most frequently (west coast style). This was exactly as pictured. It is plenty big enough for the butter sticks we buy. I like that it can be used upside down. Matches our kitchen colors and has a nice appearance. The ceramic seems like it is durable and should last a long time.

I don’t love the clear glass or plastic butter dishes because I think they look messy after first use. I also was looking for something that fit the kerrygold Irish pads of butter we buy most frequently (west coast style). This was exactly as pictured.
