## Description

The enameled cast iron Signature Everyday Pan has a generous depth and wide surface area that is perfect for everything from pan roasting and frying to one pan meals, simmering sauces and more – it essentially combines the benefits of a braiser with the ease of use of a fry or sauté pan. Slightly curved sides make it effortless to stir, flip and serve, while oversized handles provide a secure grip for transferring from stove to oven to table.

Review: Great pan! Please read my tips for how to care for this wonderful pan! - This is a very nice enameled cast iron pan. Le Creuset has somehow perfected the lightweight enameled cast iron pan. The finish is durable. I have some simple rules that I never deviate from when it comes to this pan. I never raise the temp above 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. I give the pan at least 9 minutes to heat up with oil before I start cooking. If it gets crusty, I boil water in the pan with baking soda and then scrape off the crud with a spatula. I always use a silicone spatula. I also always take care to prevent any thermal shock to the pan by waiting for it to properly cool before washing it in cold water. I never use a heavy duty scrubber. Just simple dishwashing soap and a light duty scrubbing sponge. No issues with rust. Cleans up like new. I recommend you skip the glass lid from Le Creuset. Too many horror stories of it shattering suddenly. I use a Carote brand 11.5 inch glass and silicone universal lid. With a little bit of love and proper care this pan will become your favorite and fall into an almost daily rotation.

It cooks everything so well and evenly that it’s just a lovely peice of cookware to add to the collection if you’re a cook! I cook everything night and I love when it’s going to be something that I will need it for! I love using it. It’s a little heavy but that just means that it will hold up for a very long time! A: It doesn't come with a lid, but several glass universal lids fit. I also found that the lid from my Staub Universal Deluxe pan fits perfectly.

I LOVE this pan. It's the perfect in between size. I am really glad Le Creuset enameled the bottom of their pans. Heavy duty. Perfect when you need something larger than a fry pan but not quite the size of a dutch oven. Excellent surface area. I am so glad I took a chance & selected this particular pan.
