I bought the magnetic strips that stick to my backsplash, and these look so nice in the kitchen. The labels that are provided look very classy. The tins hold quite a bit of spice. I usually buy the big containers of spice from Sams, but they have to stay in the pantry. I like the convenience of having the spices I need right next to the stove, and so handy. The lids have an opening in them, and you can spin it around to a large opening or to an opening with small holes to just "sprinkle". I really like that. Or, if I need a measuring spoon full of something, I can remove the lid and scoop out. I can fill them up from the large containers as I use them up. I plan to buy one more set. One just wasn't enough for all the spices I use regularly. I am very satisfied. I do have advice...... clean them before use but don't submerge in water. I sprayed the inside with a mixture water and dishwashing soap.... light on the soap. Wipe clean with cloth or paper towel. Spray lightly with water and wipe dry. There seems to be a residue from the manufacturing process. The residue is not apparent but it is easily removed. Submersion to clean is not recommended after reading other reviews.
