It's small enough to pack away with ease, yet it is very comfortable to sleep on. I used to buy the high rise air mattresses prior to purchasing this one, but ended up buying this one because I thought it would be easier to handle while camping. I actually found that I prefer this smaller, lower rise mattress over the high rise. If you are sharing this mattress with another person, it is still very comfortable and is not as annoying as a high rise mattress to get even weight distribution. I always find it difficult to get comfortable on an air mattress when sharing it, at least with the high rise mattress. Especially if one person is much bigger than you are. However, I did not experience this problem at all with this mattress. I would highly recommend this mattress. My boyfriend used it while camping once by himself and had no complaints. During our spring break we were able to fit on it together while camping in Big Sur. The material on top is soft and the part to help roll up the mattress is helpful. I've used it a few more times for various reasons, and we've had a couple of guests use it when they've visited. We've had it for almost a year now and it has served it's purpose well.Update 12/6/17: A few months ago we had a friend stay on the air mattress, and the air did not stay inside. Not too upset about this since we got a couple of years of moderate use for a great price. Would buy again but I would prefer a two person mattress now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Longest lasting air mattress for camping *by E***M on Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2016* I don't know if I could go camping without an inflatable mattress. When we started out car camping we initally purchased an air bed with an integrated pump from another major brand. It popped within a year and we became accustomed to replacing it yearly at $110 a pop for a queen size. Eventually we got smart and realized the intelligence of purchasing an air mattress separately from the pump. That's when we started with Coleman. We've been through several mattresses over the past few years but have never had to replace the pump making the overall process cheaper and easier. Some mattresses have leaked after being ripped, torn or punctured and a few have just developed a slow leak along one of the seams. We seem to replace these at a slower rate than ever so maybe we're getting better at taking care of them. These are our go to purchase to replace our camping gear. We get this one for the kids but we get the double height one for ourselves so we don't have to crawl out of bed in the morning.
