My bird is hypocalcemic and not doing very well** A: Mine didn’t say calcium but it does have eggs. I called the company to choose for my birds. **Q: How long until it expires and is no longer good?** A: It doesn't give an expiration date, only a "best before" date. We just bought a new container and it was supposed to be best before 2/11/21. We have three parakeets and use up a 5 lb. container in about 5 to 6 weeks. It's always been of very high quality. One thing to remember -- always keep the container completely closed so that the pellets are dry. Don't put it in the refrigerator because any condensation could cause the pellets to go bad. **Q: Would this size be the right size for Green Cheek Conures?** A: The LAFEBER'S make a size for Conures. I found that size too large for my parrotlet. This is sized for parakeets.
