I had to throw away quite a few of the wristbands because of this. Removing the cover from one side or the other didn’t seem to make much of a difference in this situation. I had to peel extraordinarily slowly while keeping my thumb on the pre-cut sticky side to prevent it from getting stuck to itself/tangled and becoming unusable. I have used these types of bands for years (thousands upon thousands of wrist bands like these have been used by me), and I never experienced this kind of issue. I will definitely be trying a different brand/manufacturer. The loss of product was not worth it. Nor was the time spent and the frustration experienced.
