However, we quickly decided that we didn't want to spend a lot of money (certainly not more money than the swinging chair was worth). And we weren't sure we could trust the various cheap supposedly waterproof/weather-resistant cushions that had very few reviews. So we chose this one, and so far we are very glad we did. It's quite a lot thinner than I expected, but perfectly comfortable, and we can easily fit it into our wet weather storage box next to the swinging chair. It has tie fastenings, to stop it moving around on the chair, but we haven't found it necessary to use these. It is supposed to be splash and stain resistant, and although we haven't tested this yet, the surface of the cushion has the kind of feel that makes you think you can easily wipe something off. All in all, a very good purchase and just what we were looking for.

Generally very pleased. Fabric appears thick and water and stain resistant. Nice shade of navy blue. Only negatives are that (like many others) it will not expand to the thickness described. I reckon it will get to 5cm thick but it is comfortable, so thickness not a big issue. Also, the cushion comes vacuum packed. It must be the way that it’s rolled because on one face of one half of the cushions, the creases will not come out. Again, that’s not a deal breaker as I use that face as the ‘back’ of the cushion. I think that the cushions represent good value at the price.
