Love it! I bought this specifically for green papaya salad. This was recommended by a food influencer Thai chef for green papaya salad. I could not find this anywhere in my Asian market, and we have many here! It did come out, like long grated papayas chips; but if you grate over and over on one spot you will get nice julienne slices. However, I actually liked the chipped-julienne slices because it was able to pick up the sauce much better. Look at my papaya salad picture, it looks great and tasted yummy!! Yes, there were papaya chips but it really looks fine and still chewable! It does take time to grate but this grater makes the process very fast! Next time I make a salad, I am going to cut several places into the papaya then grate? At first I was bothered about the long chips; however , Once you put all the other ingredients like tomatoes and green beans etc, the chips looks fine next to the julienne slices! Very happy with this product! The quality is sturdy. Sharp. Easy to hold. Lightweight and fits comfortably in my hands. And, Easy to clean! I’m so glad I ordered this grater!
