    Light bulbs not fit for purpose!

Ordered this in a pack of two light bulbs. Had it for a couple of weeks and one has already blown.  I seem to go through so many of these so-called "long-life" bulbs.  15,000 hours it is supposed to last, but mine hasn't even lasted 15 days.

The claimed 15,000 hours life on these bulbs is utter rubbish, no way. 75% of the bulbs in my house have gone since I moved in here less than 3 years ago, that is around 1,000 days, so each bulb would have to be on for 15 hours EVERY single day. Bearing in mind I am at work 5 days a week, and don't have every bulb in the house on when I am at home and have no lights on when I am asleep, this is way beyond impossible. If I had more time I would complain to the trading standards about this false claim.

I’m not convinced by these expensive bulbs. For us, they don’t really last very long. 8 months on average. They do come with a 2 year manufacturers guarantee but, it’s a bit of a faff to claim. I’m tempted to rip out the fitting and return to normal LED’s.
