So I kept giving her three pills crushed/ powdered and blended in the wet food in the a.m. and then added one pill crushed/powdered in her p.m. wet food dish. I just started doing this, this past week. This seems to be a good plan for her and my heart is full of gratitude for the relief it is providing to my little girl. After an active day it was hard for him to get up and he was very stiff for the first 30 seconds. Low dose NSAIDS helped a lot, but the liver and kidneys pay a price for that. I first ordered two bottles and tried them. He is very large (108 lbs) so they didn't last too long. By the end of the second bottle he was getting right up again and had very little stiffness. I thought the warmer weather and less ball throwing were the cause and discontinued the product. He got real bad again and we tried NSAIDs.
