I chose it for its measurements which were clearly shown and knew that it would be the right size. With rain forecast last night it had its first test. It was easy to put on and looked OK, also easy to tighten the toggled cord. The furniture was kept nice and dry during the rain but it needed to have the water sponged off before trying to remove it as failure to do this would result in the furniture getting wet on removal. Can't help wondering if this is what happened to the person who claimed it wasn't waterproof! I have been pleasantly surprised that it has survived the winter intact and so has the furniture underneath. Yes it does blow about a bit in a big wind but anything would. The strings did not come out nor did the holes tear.
