The picture shows the vibrant color but it's better still in my home and on the floor next to my bed!! The scroll-work and roses look like embroidered, or short napped hand hooked. I love the true dark brown color, it reminds me of my first bay mare! It's low nap and non-slip backing is perfect for those of us who are occasional fall risks. I would love this as a 6 foot circle rug, that would be awesome! I have run the stick-vac over the rug a few time and everything, including my dogs hair comes up completely.Honestly, I can't wait to order a second rug, it's just that good!
