Review: Great mini split - This has been the best investment! We have natural gas and this mini split. When temps got to freezing, we ran this and the wall furnace and it kept us warm. This summer has been nice and cool in an old house with very little insulation and old windows. It’s quiet, our electric bill has lowered, and it was easy for my husband to install. Just clean the filter weekly and make sure you keep the outside cleaned up and it’ll run perfect!
Review: Recommended -- would buy again. - Works flawlessly, rapidly cools 20'X40' w/12' ceiling bedroom and maintains temp with no problem. I seldom run it below 73F but tested down to 69F. Texas hasn't gotten over a 100F yet this year, but not expecting it to struggle to maintain temp. Well packaged, well reinforced internally to prevent damage -- zero shipping damage -- this is extremely important. Purchased another brand (starts and ends with T) that was very poorly packaged/fell apart and missing parts, worried if it was going to work. Can't hear outside unit when in use, indoor unit could be a little quieter but still very quiet (I'm looking for absolute silence when sleeping). Came with everything you need to install. This is an unsolicited review -- I absolutely hate Vine reviews.

I installed it myself for the first time in my life, and it turned out to be much easier than I expected. You just need to know the common installation mistakes ahead of time and avoid them from the start. I was originally thinking about buying a MrCool system for around $2,000, but I decided to go with COSTWAY instead, and I don’t regret it at all. I honestly don’t see the point in paying so much more when this unit gives me about a 20°C temperature difference between the return air and the supply air.
