I have/ had severe angina and a suspected heart attack. So a few months later, I am trying to re-learn how to cook and eat healthy. It’s been a very interesting journey. Reluctant and a very dubious husband. Recently visited Sydney for my son’s wedding after starting the journey to go meat free. The book itself is wonderful, it is so colourful and the presentation of the recipes is amazing. But most importantly, the recipes are delicious. One thing that I have to get out of the way first -- if you want recipes with 5 ingredients that take 15 minutes to make, this is not the book for you. This book is for people who have been cooking for a while, have developed skills for cooking and have more than 30 minutes to spare for cooking OR for people who want to take their cooking to the next level. If that is you, I don't doubt that this will be the perfect cooking book for you.I've been following Gaz on Youtube almost since the beginning of his channel and made a lot of his recipes at home and they were always delicious. I've already tried a couple of new recipes from the book and they were just as I suspected - delicious. This book contains a lot of "different" recipes that are hard to find elsewhere, like making your own vegan sausages, burgers and burger buns. Also, contains recipes for cooking essentials, like vegetable broth, BBQ sauce and cream.
