They haven't been washed yet or anything. But I've noticed that the non slip silicone grips on the gloves heat up super hot and burn me through the glove while pulling a hot pan out of the oven. After taking the glove off the grips are still super hot. This mostly happens on the thump tips or finger tips. I'm not sure if my item is defective or this just happens with this brand of oven glove either way I can't use them. So it was a waste for me ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No More Accidental Burns! *by N***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2020* I received these gloves a few days ago and have honestly been using them since. They are a one size fits all option, which worried me at first since I have smaller hands. However, they actually fit even my small hands to help me grip anything from the oven quite easily. I bake often, so I have gotten plenty of burns on the tops of my hands and fingers from accidentally bumping the rack above, but this finally protects my full hand from burns. Comes with 2 gloves, which is a great value. I only needed 1 glove for a lighter pan of cookies, but used both gloves to take a pan containing a roast out of the oven. I can honestly say I never felt the heat. Even better, compared to my other potholders, I never felt the item was going to slip out of my grasp. Definitely my choice for no future burns or spills while baking! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice gloves. They won't fit Fat Fingers! They're long enough... I have skinny fingers so tried ring/middle in one slot.. no luck *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2018* **Update** held a tray out of the oven at 425 degrees for an extra 20-seconds and could feel a good amount of heat coming through gloves.The plastic bag they came in says made in China and up to 932-degrees. Yet, the pamphlet inside the package says withstands heat up to 540 degrees. My way of thinking is... anything at 600-650 these should do fine. I don't go over 700-degrees so really can't tell you on the 932 degree claim. If you're dealing with molten metals or something like that keep that in mind. The 540 claim seems a bit low because they're nice & thick gloves but the flyer does say "NOT" for a permanent protection against fire or heat only extends the time to handle hot objects.They fit snug, the blue stripes are a rubbery, shiny substance yet seems to be very slightly sticking. They're reversible so that's nice can use either one on either side on either hand.Nice gloves, performed two tasks with them and worked just fine. If you have small to medium hands the tips will be empty. Like wearing a size 10 shoe when you're actually a 9.
